The tower’s architectural intent is to exemplify a seamless integration of sculptural architecture, structural ingenuity and urban community in one of the most prominent cities in the United States. Inspired by the concept of wrapping found in the calla lilies, native to Southern Africa, and Richard Serra’s spiraling sculptures, the design makes a graceful statement high on the San Francisco skyline.
